# Purpose and Utility

$SPICY is the native token of the SpicyFans ecosystem and will be the sole means of interacting with the platform. $SPICY has three main functions on the platform: (1) Purchase Unique Content, (2) Tip And Subscribe, and (3) Stake $SPICY.

* **SPICY** is the unit of exchange of the SpicyFans platform. Users can exchange SOL or USDT to SPICY through network specific Decentralized Exchanges. When acquiring unique content or tipping creators, users will have to hold SPICY in their wallet and confirm the transaction ( which takes seconds to complete)
* **Rewards** are given to loyal fans and SpicyFans users. SPICY tokens can be randomly distributed upon completing tasks that boost the ecosystem. These tokens can be exchanged and used to reward creators.
* **Staking** SPICY will earn additional tokens and rewards for the users and creators. Content creators can lock content only for stakers and unlock new subscription tiers for those holding SPICY. As a result, the SpicyFans ecosystem can benefit from stable prices and less volatility.
